Dr Donald E HarmanAs our students at Oregon-Davis are provided opportunities to learn, developing skills for the 21st century is essential.  Those skills are preparing our students for various career pathways after graduating high school including the workforce, a skilled trade, the military,  and/or higher education.  Many times, students feel that their career pathway includes higher education however, there are numerous career pathways that include skilled workers.  Oregon-Davis is a partner with the North Central Area Vocational Cooperative which offers many programs that allow opportunities to learn various career pathways that include skilled trades.  I encourage you to read the article below from Mike Rowe who testified to the Committee on Education and the Workforce on the skills gap in America.
