December 3 Basketball Game

This entry was posted in News on by .

In 2007, the Oregon-Davis boys and girls basketball teams made history by becoming the first team in Indiana history to win the boys and girls basketball state championship in the same year.  On December 3, 2016, we will be honoring all of the state championship teams. This will include the 2007 boys, 2007 girls and the 2014 girls state championship teams. The teams will dedicate the newly constructed trophy case to the community. The game on December 3, 2016, will be a boys game vs John Glenn. The ceremony will take between the Junior Varsity and Varsity games. Tip off time for that Junior Varsity game is 5:00 CST.

Most importantly, thank you to the 45 veterans for showing up today. Thank you so much for your service to our country!

The elementary has started a new “Student of the Month” program. Classroom teachers and other staff nominate deserving students for student of the month. Each child receives a certificate and gets their picture taken for a bulletin board. They also receive a special treat. Then all of the students names are entered into a drawing and a name is drawn out for a special prize.

October “Student of the Month” nominees were: Riley McCarty, Rayne Mickow, Alan Flores, Jacob Both, Neveah Nowak, Jasmine Zelaya, Anna Lawrence, Jeremiah Meister, Caroline Balica, Sophia Baker, Miles Duckett, Bruce Wringer, Reagan Danford, Kailee Combs, Branson Patrick, Aly Brantley, Skyla Paul-Cooley, Chloe Temple.
