Ms. Caudill and Mr. Julian and their 10th graders successfully organized their first Veterans Day program. There was a wonderful turnout as 47 veterans attended. A big thanks also goes out to Mr. Carlin, Mr. Hogan, members of the FFA, and members of the 9th grade class for providing breakfast for the event. The feedback was very positive, and we are very proud to carry on this tradition. And again, thanks to all the veterans who have given so much for our freedoms.

Congratulations to Lexi Minix, Taylor Kranenburg, and Kyleigh Kubik on signing their National Letters of Intent on Thursday. Lexi will continue her basketball career at St. Joseph College, Taylor will attend St. Francis University, and Kayleigh will attend Grand Valley State University. Good luck to these ladies! They have made us all very proud!
Mrs. Radtke is having students make blankets during resource period to donate to Kid’s Closet Ministry, which is an organization in Starke County that meets the needs of children without clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, and the like. The students made blankets to be delivered for the holidays. Mrs. Ecker and Mrs. Marsh and the NHS students collected food and cash donations to put together food baskets for Thanksgiving. We appreciate theirs, Mrs. Radkte’s, and the junior high students’ desire to give back—supporting our mission to increase our community involvement.
