We are proud to announce a new club at OD, the Students Who Achieve Greatness (S.W.A.G) club. These students will be looking for ways to volunteer in the community. They want to make a difference for people in our district and beyond. Please keep on the lookout for S.W.A.G. activities in the future!

How exciting, our very own Hannah Clark coordinated the first ever Rainbow Splash Color Run. She and several other OD students volunteered and ran the event. It was a great success having nearly 70 participants and raising over $2,000 to be donated to Starke County Youth Club. We are very proud of our students who want to make a difference in our community!

Yellowstone Trail Fest

OD had a strong presence at this year’s Yellowstone Trail Fest (Aug.15-16). Students did research on the Yellowstone Trail and hobo life. This information was presented in a rolling hobo camp. We appreciate Mr.¬†Brett¬†Byers and the use of his vehicle and trailer for the display and parade! For the first time in many years, the OD band marched in the parade on Sunday, Aug. 16. They represented us well and are looking for other opportunities to participate in local parades and festivals. Good job, Bobcat band!
